## What we check

- Parcel identity from county records and the North Carolina parcel layer.
- Mapped boundaries and deeded acreage on record.
- Contiguity when several parcels form one site.
- Ownership as the county lists it.

## Where the record stops

County parcel maps are not surveys. Boundaries can be off by feet or more. For any site you move on, a licensed surveyor sets the real lines.
